Comparing chair support and finish options in 3D

An ergonomic chair has two kinds of options. Armrests, lumbar support and a headrest affect its use, while fabric, seat colour and base finish determine its appearance.

The store places both sets of controls beside the 3D chair. The customer can turn the model and inspect a selection from another angle before moving on.

A specification can say that lumbar support is included, but it cannot show its position on the backrest. A fixed set of photographs also cannot cover every upholstery and base combination.

The controls separate support features from fabric, seat colour and base finish. Each selection changes the relevant part of the model, and rotate, zoom and reset controls make close inspection possible.
